Lady Simone |
Ingenue Update
Hello, my fellow artists. I have just posted a new image to my website. This lovely lady is known as Lady Simone, a companion to Lady Monet (the first in my Ingenue © series). You are probably wondering why I have chosen to give these ladies the title of "Lady" before their first names. That is a subtle reflection of their aristocratic elegance. Judging them by their appearances, though, you would consider them very casual noblewomen. Ingenue are intended to reflect the beauty and inner strength of young ladies.Simone is the representation of hidden ferocity. As her profile suggests on my website, she "has the eyes of an angel and the strength of a tiger". In truth, I have not yet decided which ethnicity she belongs to yet. My mother commented that she appeared mixed African American/Asian, while I commented that she appeared Columbian. Do you have any suggestions?
I will be producing more Ingenue soon, so be sure to follow my posts on +Alexandra Harenberg and @4EverMonet on Twitter. I will be setting up a Facebook account soon, so I will be able to network much better than before.
Here is a teaser of what is to come...
(Left to Right) Lady Gina, Lady Eve, and Lady Monica |
Hope you enjoy these lovely ladies as much as I enjoy drawing them! If you have any suggestions, please email me or drop me a line on Twitter or Google +. Happy Drawing!
